ABOUT
Formed in Cumbria in 2016, The Northern Threads have steadily built their reputation through relentless live performances and an increasingly ambitious touring schedule.
The band have toured alongside The Snuts and Twisted Wheel, as well as supporting The Vaccines, Scouting For Girls and Bad Nerves, among others.
Following their debut UK tour in 2023, The Northern Threads went on to secure a headline slot at Kendal Calling, where their performance drew one of the weekend’s standout crowds.
“The busiest the tent has been all weekend – it was absolutely bouncing.”
— Emma Linton, BBC Introducing Cumbria & Lancashire
Since then, the band have packed out venues nationwide on their most ambitious headline tour to date and taken their live show overseas, delivering sold-out performances in France.
With a growing audience and a reputation for high-energy live shows, The Northern Threads are continuing to push forward with new music and bigger live plans.
